Can you take a picture and post as I didn't have to cut into mine at all.

Yeah I'll take some here in a bit. I assumed it was needed. I saw that Bebop and Captis both had a slot on the rear. But looks like none of yours did.

I didn't want to force it on and break it. Maybe I just need a little sanding on the fuse.

I like the grey with red
I'm not a huge fan of this grey. But I need use it since I have it. I have some silver that I like a little better. It's turning out pretty good though. I was going to do the grey on the bottom with the checks but decided it needed a little more color.

Yes that's about all I had cut on mine.

Screws.
You could use long screws and just add 1/16th ply on the opposite side of the fuse.
Or Drill the rails and incert a dowl for a hard point.

That's a good idea. My screws are long so that might work out well. Not sure why I didn't make them hardwood. I left the cross piece above the upper servo out somehow. Now the covering doesn't have anywhere to attach too. But I think I can slide a piece in there.

I guess I was building a little too fast on this one.

As hard as these can e flown I wouldn't trust just balsa and ca or glue. Perhaps Cappy's idea would work too.
My original jr only had balsa rails. Just did as Dan said and wicked a lot of thin ca in.
