Turnigy G15 is what it says I have hitec 85 mg servos on everything and I have run a xoar and turnigy 13x6 and presently have a 13x6.5 apc on it and I can't really tell much difference in pull between any of them. 3S 2200 ma batt. Really loving the glaciers right now

Smallfly's setup flew great. Only thing I don't like about that motor is it has a collet style prop adapter.

I bought a Leopard 3542 1080kv fo mine. But I haven't flown it yet. Need to finish covering it.

First hinge your stab and elevator before anything else. Glue tristock on top of stab. Then you can glue the stab in and it makes itself 90 to the fuse, just use medium ca. Still verify that it is 90 but it should be. Then lay the fuse flat on the bench with the stab hanging off use some weight on the nose to keep it from falling off. Put tube in place and tack with thin CA in a couple places. Then go down both sides of the tube with Loctite brand Go2Glue. Let it cure for 30-45 minutes then flip the fuse over and glue both sides of the tube on that side. This glue forms a nice fillet much like epoxy but once you destroy the plane so long as the tube doesn't break the glue can be scraped off with a knife. Let that cure for a few hours before gluing the wing in. The way I do the wing is to slide it on the tube and into place and make sure it is square to the fuse. Once square with fuse tack in a couple places with thin ca. Then slide the motor mount in place. Tape everything tight and then wick in thin ca on both sides of the motor mount and wing. At this point you are done but I like to go back and put a fillet of the go2glue on the wing to fuse joint as well.

Yep. Ca works on this size. But 30min epoxy can too if it makes you feel better BUT I like CA like Chris says because if you dork it the glue joint can pop loose instead of breaking stuff all to hell. The go2glue (from Walmart) is flexible but stays adhered. Even when I folded the wings on my 55 (because I put the sheer webs on sideways) my tail and tube were fine. I didn't have to touch anything during the repair but mate the wings with the fuse again. Your 44" will be fine :tu:

How far into the wing should the slot be cut on the rear of the wing?

I did a quick test of the wing and it didn't want to slide in far enough. I'm guessing I need to cut more of that slot out.
