My favorite bird has her wings back. The world is a better place with Wild Tigers flying about.

Yes! The Wild Tiger is still one of my favorite 3D profile planes!
It's not really wild at all. It's just a joy to fly.
And it's not really a tiger to fly. It's more like a pussycat.
But the name Pussy Joy probably wouldn't have been the best idea.

IDK, my daughter named our cat Pussy Slayer. I said no to hollering Pussy Slayer out the door, so since he's black and white colored, he became Paul Stanley of KISS :)

Doing my best to make the world a better place! Engine, servos, and budget carbon fiber pushrods installed. Fixed fuel tank clunk situation. Need to mount receiver and battery.

Not sure what that red thing is on the front.

Looks good!
That red thing on the front is the part that mates with the starter cone. Other than that, they are useless.

But yeah you nailed it, just easier with my current starter situation, especially with engines that likely haven't run in a long time...

What's your header length for 40fsr? Also, you said can length matters less than diameter. If I try a shorter can, should I add header length to keep the length to the back of the can the same?

Not that hard to experiment with length in any case

Distance from the exhaust flange to the can is 3 3/4".

Looks like the maiden will have to wait until after I get back from Texas in a week and a half...

Thought we would have dad's senior ready to go tonight(added ailerons and flaps), but upon checking linkages, we realized the elevator hinging was way too stiff and the stabs were barely glued on... So off they came
