I imagine this has been asked before. Just wondering what got everyone into this money pit hobby. My interest with planes started at the age of 6 when my father got his pilots license. a year later he bought a Quicksilver MX 2 seater ultralight. I was with him every flight even when we landed in the top of a tree from a hole in the fuel line. By the time I was 9 I always did the complete preflight check and was flying it by the time I was 10 years old. Then my parents divorced and the Ultralight was no more. Luckily when I was 12 my step father decided he would buy a Aerostar 40 kit and built it. I learned to fly it quicker than he did. Moved on to a Aerosport .60 and a super sportster .40 with a prototype Rossi that was built buy a guy that once held the world speed record in C/L. Then sold the patent to Rossi That plane sure would smoke some ass. Then they got divorced when I was 16 and I was out of the hobby. Tell 25. got out after getting board being a CJ. got back in a year and half ago and addicted now more than ever thanks to all you pecker heads and these profiles. Oh well enough ranting from me. Let me here your story.
