I just ordered a new Webra for my Burrito.

I run 15% wildcat and use Fox long plugs with an idler bar on all my OS's and Super Tigres', and have been pleased with their performance.

What fuel and plugs do you guys use on this engine? And is there a muffler that performs better than stock?

Maybe I've just read to many threads about this engine and gotten myself confused. I was under the impression that fuel and plugs aren't that important; what really counts is whether or not the carb is adjusted correctly, particularly the low end.

I have mine on EF Edge. I ran 4oz through it on the ground a bit rich and sent it up. I used whatever plug came with the engine. If it didn't come with one I stuck an OS 8 in it. I run 15% PowerMaster in all my airplane engines. This is one of the best engines I have ever had. I only have 10 flights on it so far but it's ran fantastic so far. I'm running a Zinger 12-4. An APC will pull harder but they are so slow on throttle response due to their weight. I prefer the responsiveness of a light wood prop over the monster pull of the APC.
Should fly great on your Burrito. I have YS 63 on my Burrito. Both weigh nearly the same and both have similar vertical performance.

The Webra Speed 50 GT is a great engine. As with most Webra engines, this one really likes to wind up. Try to prop it so it will unwind real good, 11x4, 12x4 (well ballanced) wood props may be a good place to start. For fuel I have found that 10% ran the best with some castor in it, higher nitro it ran real hot ans the power increase was not there unless a head shim was installed. Plug, If you are going to run more than 10% nitro fuel, go to a cooler plug such as the Enya #5, or Fox Pro #8. If running 10% or under go with a slightly hotter plug like the Enya #4, Fox std, OS #8.
Run a bit of castor in this engine, it will thank you in the long run, if running all synthetic, go a couple clicks richer than normal.
