Lets let the TOC RIP with a good name and lets remember it for what it was
So Constrictor I guess your not going to enter? :)

Millions are you kidding? I know he had plenty of sponsors they had to chip in for the event. If hes such a great guy then whats so bad about a tribute to what he once had? How can we remember it by letting it go?

In all fairness to OMP and myself Constrictor, I like to do original work. All of the creative work I do for OMP is all done by yours truly and it's all original. Same with our airplanes, all original as well.

The problem is we don't have millions of dollars to invest in such an event. We are going to be giving away lots of prizes and spending money to make sure that this event is not a flop. I just wanted to make the event recognizable so that there is no question of what the event is going to be. The only reason I did this was because of the ETOC. It had a HUGE turnout and much of the reason was the name as you and I both know. Most of the prizes that we will be giving away will also be coming from sponsors. I will only be able to get these prizes if the event has a good turnout or interest. I'm just trying to do my part for the hobby. This event is going to be for everyone and it's going to be fun.

I will in fact mention William Bennett and the TOC when I am done building the official VTOC website. I can assure you though if he was alive today I doubt he would have a problem with this, he sounded like a great guy who was open minded and loved the hobby. Unfortunately I can't ask him for his blessing. Although I would if I could.
