We're hosting a 3D fly-in on August 21-22 at our home field here in Tulsa, OK. Pretty simple: Come and fly. No raffle, no demos, no whining! (I won't even whine about the pavement......'cause there ain't any!!!)

Really big grass area and separate electric area too. Even a pond if you just gotta dip the rudder. Yeah, it's gonna be hot, but hey, we're ProBros right? Plus we got an airconditioned clubhouse, and 2 shelters. Electric is available for charging.

Bill has some ideas for night flying, mostly for electrics (of course Gary could fly a 40% in a Volkswagon). More details to come.

We'll feed you lunch, and we'll have the local (pretty close) mexican reast ready for Sat night.

Camping is really great, pitch your tent by the pond and have a campfire! I'll be there in the Motor home.

Even I can hit this runway (Most of the time! 8) )

so..if we convinced Byrd to come..his 40% extra 3D's real good...plus we got electric stuff to fly...

so would that be ok if we showed up?

Byrd was in the TOC in '97...the boy can sure fly..!

Come one - Come all!! Our only plane requirement is: It must 3D 8)

As long as you don't mind flying with the Bros, come on up. Just don't do the "Hey, you guys want to land so I can fly the "BIG" plane" which will result in much grumbling and perhaps some intentional Starfish! :lol:

that is the weekend of the 3D IMAC Championship in Seguin...i gotta go and see that...i wanna see Hyde try to outdo me ! hahaha whata joke..i hope i don't emberrass all of us! hahahaha :shock: i guess if i wanna win, i gotta play drunky and walk around and slip and falla nd destroy everyones plane...! :twisted:

BTW, the field is looking great, a little more rain is forcast this week early, forcast is mid to high 80's, and the wind has been VERY light for 2 weeks. Lovin' it!!!!

Well, there is a lot of variation on the forcasts right now. Wether Channel says cool and little wind. Wunderground says hot and breazy. I say we get somone to hack Wondergrounds site.
