We're hosting a 3D fly-in on August 21-22 at our home field here in Tulsa, OK. Pretty simple: Come and fly. No raffle, no demos, no whining! (I won't even whine about the pavement......'cause there ain't any!!!)

Really big grass area and separate electric area too. Even a pond if you just gotta dip the rudder. Yeah, it's gonna be hot, but hey, we're ProBros right? Plus we got an airconditioned clubhouse, and 2 shelters. Electric is available for charging.

Bill has some ideas for night flying, mostly for electrics (of course Gary could fly a 40% in a Volkswagon). More details to come.

We'll feed you lunch, and we'll have the local (pretty close) mexican reast ready for Sat night.

Camping is really great, pitch your tent by the pond and have a campfire! I'll be there in the Motor home.

Even I can hit this runway (Most of the time! 8) )

Thanks Randy. Lookin' forward to getting you guys out here. Our club still talks about Gary and his antics!

And Bill says he'll make sure to set aside a spot for you guys this year, after you had to weedeat your own grass last year. I'm not sure if he meant he would have a spot mowed for you or that he would leave a spot high. LOL

Really looking forward to the Show Me 3D in June!!!

Last year we had about 20 pilots, but most were not 3D pilots. We did a combined 3D/SPAD last year. This year we will only be advertising for 3D, if it will 3D bring it. We really don't expect big numbers, just lots of flying time!!! We are also trying to get the local (w/in 50 miles?) 3D pilots to get together so I hope this will bring them in as well.

I'd be pleased to get 20 3Ders out this year.

Just Bumping this up to remend all the guys in AR, TX, MO, and TN, and of course AK (LOL) to be ready for some warm hospitality and some really hot weather!! We are really looking forward to some serious flying here in August. Uslually little to no wind and lots of dry days.

There will be a souvenier for those who dip in the pond, and for anyone camping at the field I'll be doing Breakfast!!!!

Looking forward to it Gordo. Also can't wait to see the 40%er you're gonna let me fly into that underwater Volkswagon!

Gary

Would love to go too. Maybe I can convince the wife to go with me. Let's see.

I'll have to wait until time gets closer before I'll know if I can make it or not. I got a letter from my son today saying that he may be coming home in August, so that would have to take top priority! I'll know more when time gets closer. Would sure like to make it if possible!

Well, he has a pretty little blond waiting for him to come home. I'm not too sure that he'll want to leave her to go to Tulsa with me, but we'll see! :D

You know, no matter how we love our airplanes, I doubt any of us could imagine a soldier fresh from the front lines wanting to spend time with us over a pretty blond!!!

Hell Gordo, I'd pick a pretty blonde over YOU...and I ain't just home from the front! :D
Be honest Chuck...Would she have to pretty??? :p
Well... It depends on how drunk Gordo was, and far from pretty she was. Gordo is a hoot when he's had a few, and I'm not as particular when I've had a few. :D

If she was a babe, Gordo would have to be giving out some pretty dang good door prizes to compete.. 8)
