Before you get either the Tower or the Macs mufflers, take a look at the "mousse can pipe" thread in the Glow Engines section. A MCP will give you considerably more power than either one of those.

For info on how to build a Mousse Can Pipe, Go here: http://webpages.charter.net/rcfu/
Look under the CONSTRUCTION link for the Mousse Can Muffler building
instructions.

If you don't want to fool with building one, try Flying Z hobbies http://www.flyingzhobbies.com/main.html

Harold Parker and Tina Z are masters of the mousse can pipe and sell them pre-made.

If you can change your own glow plugs, then you can build a MCP from scratch.

For a TT Pro 46, you'll need a mousse can that measures 1.75 diameter by 6.5" to 8.5" long. The stinger tubing is optional if you want to skip that step.

Be sure to get the original JB Weld epoxy. We've had problems with the quick curing JB Weld breaking loose after about a dozen flights.

Tuning a MCP is pretty much the same as tuning a Tower muffler or an Ultrathrust muffler. You bolt it on.....set the needle valves.....and go fly.

Unless Flying Z Hobbies has added something new, their KY Mousse Can Pipe only works on .15 to .36 size engines. It's too small for a TT Pro .46.
