Hey Jess, I have heard that the way you have that motor mounted is incorrect as per BME's preferred method. While dowels will work great, for other engines the back plate on the 110 is build so light they are concerened about the moutning tabs breaking when mounted like you have yours. I believe they recomend having a flat plate mount like a piece of ply or something. FWIW??

I haven't seen one of these engines up close, but a good buddy has one and that is where I am getting my info. He said Keith at BME was the one who told him that.

Brian, the motor was mounted at TBM. This plane comes in ARC form only. I will call Keith and see what he has to say.

Batts will be Fromeco Li-ion.

Glad to see you've started that TBM! Did you get my inspirational video? I still have a much longer version of that video project just waiting for the addition of your TBM with smoke! I see in the photo that the headless horseman is still flying your cap! Got both my YS's back from YS performance yesterday, so I should have a couple more airplanes to play with next week. I think you are the only Memphis MO FO that has not flown my big profile Yak! :shock:

I have been eyeballing getting a set of those for my new plane as well. From what i hear they are working just fine for quite a bit less than duralites! You using one reciever, and dual batts?

Nice looking plane Jess....dont see to many 260s around these parts. The Edge craze seems to have gotten most ppl.
