Probably the easiest way to do it is with a piece of 1/16" or 5/64" music wire and bend a long skid. Put a 90 deg bend on one end for the wheel and another one to attach to the fuse. Then use a landing gear strap to hold it on.....

This came at the perfect time for me. I'm finishing my Burrito and was wondering what to use on the tail myself.

Is there enough width to use a landing gear strap? I certainly like the idea of it being removable.
you could just drill a 1/8" hole through the bottom stringer and use a zip-tie, i dont know if you can see it in this pic, i like 3/32-1/8" wire for 40 size skids

You have to put the landing gear strap on at an angle.... You could also sew it on with some heavy carpet thread or kevlar thread and thin CA.
I ended up cutting a popsickle in half, epoxied it to the tail, put a groove in it and held the skid on with 3 small zipties. works fine.
