I want to build a profile - but money is real tight. I have an OS-25FX on a PBF. I could use it for a Taco, but I REALLY like my PBF. If I go for the Taco - all I have to buy is the kit, covering, flight pack & tools. If I go for a Buritto - I need the kit, covering, flight pack, tools & engine. Now - I'll eventually have enough cash to go either way. Burrito = long term option. Taco = shorter term option. Also - I've never built or owned blsa before.
Question(s): Given that I'm new to 3d manuers...
Would it be easier to learn on a Buritto - since it's bigger & easier to see at a distance (safe altitide for learning)?
How do the flight characteristics & durability compare?
Is the Burrito worth the wait?
What else should I consider?

Any input/advice is appreciated - thanks.

Not even a maybe, get the Burrito. Taco is NOT a beginners plane. It'll do it all, but it's FAST and can be SNAPPY and usually have fairly high wingloading. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Taco, and I've built 4 of them. But I love the EASY harrier/hover of the Burrito, It'll take you far!!

Yup... I'd have to agree... The Burrito is better for entry level 3d....

The Taco was designed specifically for an event (SMALL) where you could only fly .25 size motors or less..... I couldn't find a profile that fit the bill... So I designed the Taco!!

I've got Burrito's in stock... You can purchase via PayPal on my web site: www.swanyshouse.com/burrito/burrito.html or you can just send a check for $68.50 to:

Paul Swanson

Thanks guys!

Thanks Bros...
I ordered Paul's best Burrito yesterday.
He assured me there's a minimum of 37 new 3d manuers packed in that box at no extra charge.
What a Bro!

OK, OK, OK!!!

I can't take the pressure! I give up! I'm ordering the Burrito today! You guys can stop the psychological warfare now. I surrender to the Burrito fever.

Let's get one shipped Swany!

Now all I have to do is come up with the time to build the darn thing...

I think Paul shipped it Friday AM - I just opened the box & all looks good.
I'm driving south this afternoon to PBF with a couple friends.
Tomorrow after work I plan to start building.
This is going to be the best Burrito ever! :D
 ... or at least the best to fly out of my hangar.

Dr. bills, infertility treatment, glasses for your kids. Even at 23, I wasn't thinking about that stuff!

I just put out $200+ for a new set of glasses for my 8 year old son. Am I the only one that thinks an 8 year old DOES NOT NEED "DESIGNER" FRAMES!
