I am finally getting these finished up and will start shipping on 5/31/22. When you are ready I will be accepting the final payments. I know some of you paid in full already and I have you marked off on my list.
Thank You everyone for your patience! These have taken way longer than they should have and I really appreciate it.

Arrived today! Thanks again Doug G :)

post some pictures of those new slick 46s being built 🔥🔥
Got mine, thanks Doug 🤘🏻😎🔥
Got mine, once again,Great job Doug bringing the bros together.(y)(y)😁😁😁
Any one start one of them kits yet.
Building a kit is winter work, it is flying season. Ask me again in January.
I've got the fuse and rudder framed on mine. I do have a question on the wing. The plans indicate the cross braces between the ribs should be both top and bottom. The pictures I've found indicate that it is only a single brace per rib bay and alternate top and bottom. That's the way I've done my smaller slicks. Doug, could you confirm the way the bracing is supposed to be installed. I'll be starting the wing in the next few days.
Vince, The bracing use to alternate. I changed it a few years ago to what the plans show now. It would be fine either way.

Thanks Doug.
Vince L got any pics of that build, you seem to be the first to start the slick.
Anyone else start theirs yet? Wondering what the go to setup is. I've got some 4S 3300 and some 3S 4000 packs, but I don't think those will be optimal for the Slick. Also what's a good source for the servos?
I really liked my 46 on 3s

Looking good WoodPilot,3s seems to get the job done very well. Whos going do a build show us how to keep it light, seems i always add 12oz to my builds. Feeling bad for eldon guys,8 to11in of rain, looks like flooding everywhere, hope you guys alright.
Thinking about throwing mine on the bench soon! Was looking at motor options today, hoping to fly on 3s
Mine is built and covered, just waiting on final assembly. I’m using a 4s setup with 2200 packs. Hope to have it together in the next couple weeks. Away from home tending to company full scale needs this week.
I’d say 4s is the way to go now because more and more ARFs and PNP planes are going to 4s. 3s is adequate if you already have a few but if you’re buying new batts you might as well go with 4s IMHO.

3542 1100kv swinging a 12/6 falcon wood prop is the way to go for 3s. Or maybe it was a 13/6 prop, I don’t remember.

Eldon has only received 1.2 inches total in the past couple days. It's the St. Louis guys who are getting the rain and the flooding.
