My original build thread is gone so let’s do this again. Thankfully I still have all my pics!😁

The Slick 360-35 is a 35” wingspan lightweight profile design that excels at 3D flying and is very easy and inexpensive to build. It will fit in any vehicle, can be flown almost anywhere and in my opinion fly’s as good or better than anything in this size.
I highly recommended using lightweight covering, I prefer Ultrakote ParkLite.
For electronics use a 400 size motor, 25-30 amp esc, 3s 1300 lipo and servos that are around 9 grams.

Let’s start with the wing. Find the 1/4” center rib and doublers. Glue these together as shown, I like to use wood glue and pins for this.

Check all rib and spar slots for a good fit and sand slots as needed. It is very important not to force anything together, a little sanding is usually needed. Things should go together easily but not loose. Take your time here, it will payoff when assembling.

Assemble the spars onto the center rib assembly. Set on the plan & pin in place or use steel blocks if you have them. Once everything is square and all tabs on the board glue together with thin CA.

Slide the leading and trailing edges onto the ribs. This is probably the most difficult step so take your time. Once they are in place make sure they are fully seated. The back of the trailing edge should be flush with the back of the ribs and the leading edge should be seated deep enough so the 3/16sq leading edge will contact the ribs. Use the 3/16sq LE to check this.
Before gluing set a straight edge against the trailing edge to make sure everything is straight, adjust as needed. Now glue with thin CA.

Sand everything to your liking and you have a completed wing. I usually wait until all parts are assembled then sand the hinge lines.

Now let’s build the ailerons. Pin the aileron leading and trailing edges to the plan. Use your straight edge to make sure everything is straight. The leading edge is CNC cut and the trailing edge is a 3/16sq stick.

Holes have been predrilled for Dubro 919 micro control horns “not included in the kit” These are used for all control surfaces. Do not install them yet, just check the fit.
