Actually they've been there a lot longer than RCU.

I was just shocked by the Buy it Now price on this trainer: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 02136&rd=1

I wonder what the reserve is. I wish you could leave posts on the ad at E-Bay

Reserve is 700 dollar  .
I'd wish the guy good luck.
Yeah Right
A ST .061? hahahahah Oh and I guess all the guys out there with 10X's are gonna be shocked to see that JR now has a 631 that is the top of the line
Anybody send him an email that said:

SB Alert! SB Alert! SB Alert! SB Alert! SB Alert! SB Alert! SB Alert!

:D :D

Stupid Bastard!

But in all seriousness, there is some pretty dumb stuff that goes on, on ebay. And if I ever catch who sends me the spoof ebay mail wanting me to "update" my account, well lets just say it won't be pretty! That friggen pisses me off!
But there are a lot of pretty pictures and it was built by a "Pro". Isn't that worth at least $1000.00 ??
Ive actually sold a lotta crap on ebay to sb's that paid way more then it was worth. Some dude in Israel bought some junk that cost about half as much to ship as it cost.

Well my Bro with all my respects !SHAME ON YOU¡ :( .

I had the great opportunity to deal with Paul Sawny, Matchless and receive some great help from several people here and and always have the best respect from all of them. To make an statment like yours is bad and doesn´t speaks for you very well. As a modeler you should be treat them as modelers and friends. That dude from Israel could be a Bro ¡¡¡
I sold a fishfinder on ebay once that sold for way more than it should have. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what the winning bid was. I got an email a couple of days later from the woman stating that her husband found out somehow and informed her that she could have gotten it cheaper in the store (alot cheaper) I let her have it for what the store charged. I looked at the bid history when the auction closed and saw that two clueless women were bidding on it as a Christmas present for their husbands. I would have felt like an asshole if I had held her to the price at which she bid.

Let me clarify it farther.....I initially told the guy I wouldnt even ship it to him but he kept begging so I finally told him I would but made sure he understood shipping would be cost prohibitive, which he eagerly agreed to pay. I still have no clue why he wanted it. I do try to treat fellow modlers with respect, all the noobies ( at the local field) know if they need work done on their plane Ill do it for free if I have the time. On the same line Ive given away a lot of things to ppl that I felt needed help.

If I came off in a bad way Im sorry, Its just that one particular incident really stood out to me. Ive sold some stuff that went for more then I would have paid on the other hand Ive sold some stuff that went for about half of what it should have. Its just the nature of Ebay.
After that explanation I must say that fell sorry for treat you so hard but when you live far from LHS and the only way to buy is blindly believe in the other side......
I never have bougth on ebay and what you say sounds logical. Sorry my friend for jumping so fast with my bad response. Any day you can come to Merida to share a coffe or a good shoot of Tequila. :p
I've sold on E-Bay. It's where I used to get rid of my undesirable equipment....TT.40, ST.45, Futaba Attack 4.

I never raped anyone, but did have a guy buy a trainer with Kraft servos for $100, and he got pissed, aparently he didn't know what Kraft servos were. He still got a deal, in my book.

Now, I just list on RCU, or here. If stuff doesn't move, I take it to swaps. As a last resort, I'll list on E-Bay.
I've sold some fairly rare engines on Ebay. That's where the more knowledgeable engine collectors hang. You could list that stuff on RCU and get some jerk weed offer you $20, or list it on Ebay and have it sold in an hour at your "Buy it Now" price. It's great for some things.
