Lets not get too far ahead of ourselves. There are way too many aspects of this hobby that while the Fun-Fly forum might be dead it's only a small part of RCU.

I learned about the Bros from RCU and I am grateful to have talked to everyone over the web. I do have a concern about being torn apart from within. I don't think it will happen but it is a concern.

For some reason I have a strong desire to go flying. I love the brotherhood.

I don't think anybody harbors any illusions about bring RCU to it's knees. I fought to get the Competition Fun Fly guys their own forum there and was soundly defeated on more than one occasion. As much as we love Profiles, they ain't Competition Fun Fly planes.

RCU revels in the fact that most of the "I'm pissed at RCU and gonna start my own forum" forums have floundered. But they were broad-based forums where as this is a niche forum.

We don't pretend to want to be the biggest RC site in the Universe, just want to have a comfortable place to call home.

Yeh, but I find it bizarre that Profiles represent most of what RCU had for fun-fly. Fun fly is more encompassing than profiles isn't it?

No, the ProBros simply represented most of the posters in that forum, both the ProBro forum and the FunFly forum. There is the NCFFA, but they don't post much..they don't consider a profile as we know it to be a fun fly plane (and I totally agree with them). That's whay I tried to get a competition fun fly forum for them, but numb nuts thought that they were all the same.

A true fun fly plane is usually a boom plane built just for fun fly competion. I agree that a true fun fly an a profile are just completely different. I had a lot of fun with my old Yard Dart though, would be fun to have one again.
