I have flown the Raptor.
The AXI 2208 34 is the motor that we suggest.
Flyboone is flying the house Raptor and he seems to really like it. It really excells at KE anything and is a hovering fool.

I have one in the Box. Will probably be ready for the Nashville event. Chuckflyer is first, then the OMP Katana ARF and then the Raptor.

The guy that kits these uses hot glue (low temp) to build them. I was just going to use foam safe CA until I saw him fix an ele in about 3 seconds. I have a 4 dollar low temp glue gun setting next to me. It could be the future.

The Raptor is a very good flyer especially in KE and Harriers, however you must place the battery pack behind the motor in the thrust line or it will corkscrew out of a manuever for example the last point of a 4 point roll. If you are flying and this happens the problem lessens when you throttle back so you can land it. This plane does not like an aft CG. Mine seems to fly well at about 1.5" from the center LE.
