Kinda sucks here, rain and wind!
But the good news is at least I'm getting some good building time!

Culpepper told me that it flies ALOT like the MOJO.(he also said the MOJO was probably the best profile he's flown) I like the Extreme Flight Edge 540, had two of them.....it flies alot like the EF EDGE to me.
Looks great G....give us some flight report details......weight etc. BTW do you all not have jobs .....flying on mondays?
Is the rudder as responsive as it is rumored to be??

forgot about the weight its 4.4lbs

very little coupleing on KE
and Jess who is our very own "human right thrust meter" thought it was right on.
Does terrific waterfalls and with the flapperons on I dont know whats its doing but its doing it VERY tight. I'm really pleased with it. Its the my 1st build in along time
rock solid inverted harriers, I suck at right side up harriers, but I saw Culpepper harrier'n it rightside up , didnt look like he had any problem
Glad you got it going Gator! I just got one myself to build this winter. Of course my covering will not be Gatorcote quality, but, your report gives me a good buzz on getting to fly it.

Just curious, how does it compare to the KatP (kit version)? I was hoping it would land somewhere between the docile OMP Edge and the very 'loose' KatP.
There's Howard Hughes in blue suede shoes, smiling at the majorettes smoking winston cigarettes.
And as the song and dance begins, the children play home, with needles..
Love the P Gabriel sig Scole!

yeah its responsive, but I got impateint and jammed a Hitec 475HB in there and its a little slower than I wanted. I aint taken it out unless I have to....it was kinda a bitch getting my servo leads throught the fuse. I wound up lay'n it on its side and cutting the sheeting, dont want to open that wound again. I'll make it work with that 475

Jim D,
it probably flies more like the OMP edge than the Katana, I would say your guess is correct
Nice looking covering Gator! Glad to hear you're happy with it.

Thanks Gator!!!
It really is a sweet bird! Gator offered me some stick time today, but I was feelin a little 'itchy' today and did not figure I was up to tryin a new bird on Mode 2 (I've flown a 47" Yak before...) especially a GatorKoted bird.

Appeared to fly really light on the wings, and smooth overall.

you could always just pull enough slack to cut the wire and then solder a diff servo in its place... :D shit rudder is no fun, a 8611 would do it :D
Thanks for letting me fly your Yak Gator.. Sweeeet flying bird.... Did everything really clean... Forgot to try a waterfall.. but it TRed like a mofo and inverted harriers were rock solid!!!
Glad to here you like it. Mine is about ready to be covered. Maybe I'll have a flight report within the next few weeks.
Good stuff Gator! Looks really awesome!!!! Ey you think we could maybe get some chip implant information sharing thingy going? LOL
I suck at inverted harriers but upright I can do? :rockoncool:
