OK, I hope I can describe my problem correctly. When logging on to the Pro Bro site it shows me a little star next to the forums that have new entries since my last visit. Then when clicking the respective forum it puts a little red window next to the topic with a new reply. This is fine and I want it that way but lately when reading the first topic with new entry and going back to the forum all the red windows are gone and it looks like I have read all of them already. What can I do so the stars stay lid until I log of the site or read the topic ? I really ate to have to go through all the threads and look by time and date if there was a new reply since my last visit.
I used to be alway like that, but lately it's not. At my home CPU everything is marked as read after I actually click on the first unread topic. Am I clear or is too confusing ? Anybody can help ?

Do what I do...

Get rid of Internet Explorer and get a copy of FireFox (everyone is

then, when you're on the main index, right-click on the topics with new messages and select "Open in new tab" from the pop-up menu.

The page concerned then appears in a new tab. Similarly, you can right click on the new messages in each thread you're interested and open those in a new tab too.

When you've finished reading a thread or topic, just close the tab and the previous level will instantly reappear -- no need to reload it!

Bloody marvelous. I love FireFox

You know this firefox is not half bad....i kind of like it....

I think everyone should download it and at least try it....

We need to boycott Microsoft anyways......

(like we could with all they have in the pc world)

yep, Firefox is bad azz......and the "opening in new tab" works good too. Thanks for the help so far.
