Don't have any profiles built yet but I've already got something in mind that should work great if I can ever get to the LHS and pick up some balsa.

As a newbie, I gotta ask this. Are there any plans available to build these things or do I gotta just wing it?
The Burito looks great and I like the Taco Grande also. Thinking seriously about a SPAD Profile with a balsa sheetd foam fuse and Coroplast wing. It should work ok and still be light enough to fly good. If not, what the hell, I'll only have about $15.00 invested.

Not sure if you can just buy plans. Ive gotten them from friends kits that came with them. Im sure others know more than I do. ...no big surprize

And BTW after asking around, buying kits is cheaper or equall and less labor intensive than scratching a bird. Unless you want to make some changes...
A spa3d is a great way to start out. I wouldnt bother with the profile fuse thought just extra work. Build one fly the crap outa it while you put together a good plane then go have fun. OH an welcome aboard.
I do sell just the plans... put the other guys are right here... Cheaper to just get the kit in the long run.
Buy a burrito kit you wont be sorry. Priced right and tough as nails. :)
Ok, someone tell my dumbass where to get a Burrito kit. Remember, I've slept since my last posting.
http://swanyshouse.com/ Go there an Pauly will put happiness in your hands.
Thanks, I knew it was here somewhere.
Pauly will put happiness in your hands
Burrito is a great bird - You'll love it! I can't make any promises about what else Paul might put in your hand though - be careful

Hell, I'm 58 years old. What's he got that could possibly hurt me now.
I ain't skeered of him. Just got to wait 'til the money comes in from the sale of a couple of engines and he will be getting an order.

I don't know if it would hurt, but it could get messy :? You'll love the Burrito!
You guys crack me up.....
Hey Paul,

Want to trade a good gas engine for a couple of profile kits?
I have a few of them laying around not doing anything?
Well, I'm officially in the building mode. Today my last flyable plane bit the big one. The Pizazz took a dirtnap cause I was f'ing around with the flap elevator mix and got too much elevator in it. When I put the flaps down, POW, right into the dirt before I could do anything to stop it.
Man that sucks! Now I gotta build a dang SPAD so I'll have SOMETHING to fly til I can get me a Burrito kit.

Thanks for the offer.. but I'm actually unloading some stuff myself.... you comming to Nashville Jim?
I don't know right now. I would love nothing better. I've got a built in place to stay there, got friends with a house right in Nashville. Would save me some bucks. :cash:

Where can I find out the particulars on the throw down in Nashville? Lord willing and the creek don't rise, I just might be able to. It ain't like I gotta be anywhere else in the world for the rest of my life. :tu:
Oink your way over to the Pro Bro Events forum an check out the thread about Nashville. Should get you pointed in the right direction. BTW Rik wasnt kidding when he mentioned what Paul could put in your hands :p
Ooooooooh, now it sounds like we're getting kinky.
I've seen the pics of the Burrito and really want one bad. I'll bet I could have it framed up ready to cover in two days easily.
Saw something yesterday at the field that makes me all the more certain I want to go this way.
BRAND NEW Funtana ARF, maiden flight, set up good, engine good, radio check good, controls check good, all ok. Took off, climbed to altitude, trimmed out fine, flying dead straight. Did a few lite maneuvers, cam e down in shallow dive, tail let go and broke all to hell and half of Georgia. The guy flying was amazing, he managed to land the plane and save it from certain death. Inspection showed Horizontal Stab broke in about six places, left elevator hanging on by one CA hinge. Really sucks bad how these kits are coming to the field made out of the lowest quality wood available.
Jim, where are you located ?
Atascosita, just South of 1960 off of Timber Forest Drive.
Between Humble and Lake Houston.
