Just a prediction,i think 2022 will be bigger, the bros have taken some big hits as of late, covid and the site changes, and some have fell away sadly, but i understand. But the heart was there in all who came last year,it was full of happyness. I was glad to be there and made new friends. I hope we get past this by next year, and think many will. Every thing is changing, why should we expect to be left out, whole country gone insane. Bros are great people,a cut above most, they fly because its hard to do,it takes talent and lots of thinking. Thinking is whats missing of the mass of people. So,if i can,i will be there, and hope to see many of you who could not make it last year, yep,i think it will be bigger.

Sept 21 to 25? Fingers crossed! I'm hoping to trek from Washington State to Leiper's Fork. I have the time but might have to align a few stars to make it. We'll see!

Since the calendar is gone, Let's keep this on the top of mind.

That said, it should be in the Events area of the forum.

You know you got to try to make it WoodPilot, heck, you will be one of the youngest. Rent a van,let the wife drive,or get a bro to drive you down. Them long road trips are hard on me to,i understand.

I’ve been to 7-8 consecutively until I quit flying. I’ve put on enough of a show. I used to build five or six slabs a month before and show up, buy a couple more and leave with maybe one flyable Sunday morning. Sorry you missed it but I’ve done my time. I can’t do that stupid stuff anymore. My wife came a couple times. She was miserable and I don’t blame her. I won’t ask her to do that again.

Your flying skills show the time put in,and the work. Easy to let a hobby get out of hand, done that myself. Hate to break my planes,so i dont push it as hard as could. Its all in fun,so come if you can. John, its mid september and good guys to hang with.

Its a hobby that you can restart any time, but never leaves your heart even if you take years off,its still there. I agree, this heat sucks. Good your back flying. Nash dead, nope, plug had a good time last year, expect more folks this year, might even be big, lots of folks missed being there last few years.
