If you decided to do some primo 60 I would be interested. Especially if you gave a list of all the other sticks needed to complete the kit.

Tough decision but I'm leaning towards a 40 size at this time since I would need to order fuel. Might go electric though...

One thing to note, PayPal is now considering a friend's and family a cash advance, complete with fees and interest.

Well, Sam, I have a suggestion or two.

I appreciate that you're offering Mojo short kits. But we haven't a clue who you are,.nor even where you're located as you haven't seen fit to put that basic info in your profile. I've waited to mention this to see if you might correct this yourself. Or someone else call you on it. But I'm not inclined to order and send funds to you on an invoice under current circumstances.

Think it might be prudent of you to introduce yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself and any connections you have to this RC obsession most of us have here. And at least let us know what part of the country we'll be sending funds to.

Who knows, you give the guys a bit more info maybe they will be a bit more inclined to commit to buying one from you.

sharp eye, zombie. hope he will tell us more, need kit cutters.
Not to :deadhorse: or beat on Sam. I'm old school and my mother raised me right. You come into someone's house you introduce yourself - you insure the people that live there are comfortable having you in there by telling them a bit about yourself.

Zombie is 100% correct, where are my manners! I've been in so many different RC groups for so long I didn't even occur to me that I'm a nobody here. So, a little about me:

I've been designing, building and flying for about 20 years. I cut my teeth on scratch building balsa but after my first precision kit from StevensAero, I was a sucker for anything lasercut. I was very active on RCGroups for quite a few years ( ~1,600 posts as user FLYWINGFAN ), including being a frequent review author for EzoneMag back when it was a thing still :p. I stayed in the hobby but was less active in groups for a few years as I had young kids, so any free time was squeezing in a little building/flying instead of talking about it. I've been dismayed to see the erosion of kit companies and balsa building, so when I had the opportunity to get a good laser cutter to augment some of my other prototyping tools (I'm a design engineer, and have various 3D printers, CNC mills etc) I jumped on it because I knew at the very least I was going to keep cutting kits. So that's a little about me, feel free to AMA :).

As it pertains to running these short kits for those interested and the risk of dealing with someone who has no established record in this group I have a couple thoughts:

1) I use paypal invoicing so anyone ordering has some assurance of recourse if I turn into a flake, or ship you a box of balsa dust.
2) If you're still concerned about losing your hard earned cash on vaporware, you are welcome to put your hat in the ring via email but not pay until I can send you a 'proof of life' photo of your kit in a box ready to ship.
3) I will be posting a quick video walking through an already cut 60 kit so you can judge the quality of parts, as well as some lasercutter in-action video.

At the end of the day, I'm doing this because I enjoy it & I want to keep these kinds of build going however I begrudge no for sitting out until they can feel comfortable I will deliver.

I actually met Sam on the (RCAAA) Rc Airplane Addicts Anonymous group on Facebook recently. He was Advertising cutting short kits. After reading through the comments and requests for DAS ugly sticks and other planes similar, including following conversation. I immediately requested a couple of slabs. After chatting with a couple of members here in another thread, I made mention to Sam of the brother hood in hopes it may give some guys access to a short kit. This will be a first time purchase for me as well.

I'd like to sign up for 2 Mojo 60s and a Mojo 40 Sam

I'd also like to jump on the Primo band wagon if there is one in the near future :D

I'm pretty well sold, want to throw a primo in the mix too? Does PayPal invoicing consider that a cash advance? This seems to be a recent issue with PayPal. I bought two items recently within a week of each other, second one had a nasty cash advance charge
