A good freind gave me this plane.....couldn't believe it but I took it none the less I ain't crazy heh.....I know some of you guys fly the big ones and I need some help heh Im wonder what motor and servos for this dude I was thinking a DA 100 and jr8611's but take a look this ones has never been flown said he just got tired of it.......

Its a Lanier 300 1/3 I dunno if I wanna try and convert this big puppy to a 3d ship or not I would like to lighten it up some I think im gonna strip it down completly as it has been built for a while but never flown I think im gonna go ahead and use 4 servos on the wings lost a one big one to flutter already this year.

I dunno what covering too use thought about fabric kinda heavy tho May just use Ultra coat whadda ya think

The wing span is 102"

Flies good. I need to put new batteries in it before it goes up this spring. I have a Brison 5.8 in it. If you want to lighten it use Kavan wheels (4") carbon gear and carbon wing tube. I have single JR servos on the wings. You may have a free plane but you will have $$$$ if you have to buy servos and motor. I won't say what I paid but your motor alone will cost you more.

Yep scares the crap otta me to have a 1000$ motor on the front and another 600 in servos you using just one servo per wing I have read some people are useing the Jr's new 6811 with good luck on one servo airlerons Im looking at a Da 100 and the 3w 106 I have a freind who flies his with a 3w 75 flies nice no 3d I probally want go 3d with this one im just like you the big ones make me nervous....

Maybe I can find me one in Perry heh...
