At Texarkana there was a guy selling a bunch of stuff at way off to one end of the flightline. He had a bunch of old planes, old timer looking stuff...not really something that you would figure would sell at a ProBro.

Anyway, there was a box of wood marked $15. I kinda dug around in it and bought it, I could see there was some decent sheeting in it.

So I finally get around to going thru it today. 20 sheets of 1/16th X 4 X 36 and 13 pieces of 3/32 X 4 X 36. All the good, light, perfect stuff that is so hard to come by nowdays, plus a load of assorted smaller pieces, thicker pieces, 48" hardwood sticks, large pieces of AC ply. A great buy for $15!!

So thanks to all the guys for not scooping me on this

I guess your going to ship some of it to me out of the goodness of your heart arent ya? Share the wealth! :wink: The LHS stocks decent quality stuff but generally heavy.

What I'm saying is I can continue to build super light airframes for peanuts!

Got the plans sized down for an 85% Sledge electric. Don't look like I'm gonna get the 100% Sledge electric done before Nashville, but I'll have a 75%, 85%, and 100% size Sledge shortly. The 85% is the one I'm jonesin' over, it will be the baddest of them all if my calculations pan out..

You won't actually be blessed with my presence for the entire 11 days. I'm not sure humans could handle that kind of stress. Although, after having Chuckie in the Gator dome for a few days, just about anything would be a relief !!

Must be expensive having the ceilings re-finished after he sleeps there....... :shock:

don't say that. I'll be crashing in the Gatordome too. He might be needing to remodel the whole house or at least tear down the Gatordome after Chuck and myelf leave

Shit yeah..I should have rammed large screwdrivers through my ears before I crashed..

Don't let Alf kid ya, he snores like a B-52 on takeoff. I had a pillow over my head to try to knock off the harshest of the sonic booms. It also protected my head from falling plaster.

He is just spinning a big ol' story to keep himself like looking like the one who kept the entire house awake all night.
