I was purging some unused items from my shop and I grabbed this box thinking what is this, I opened it to find one of my Extra 330 kits untouched from days gone by. Not sure when I will get to it but I will build it. Also, a friend has one I am pretty sure he wants to part with let me ask him and I will post it here.

THX Heinz, I really loved the days of flying and designing profiles. Life changes, I still very much enjoy RC but not able to do the designing anymore. I lost all the CAD files of my Extra 330 and Sledge, heartbreaking because that was alot of work. Luckily I still have a kit of each to build one day. Three more years till retirement, hopefully then.

I did! Kept it in my truck all last summer and flew the crap out of it everywhere I went! Unfortunately the rudder ripped out during flight so it’s no longer in existence. Great flyer, really enjoyed that one!

Gotcha. If I remember correctly it was pretty well loved on already when you bought it.

Yea it was pretty beat up but had a blast with it! One thing Kenny did that I really like is using the nylon bolts on profile landing gear! They work great and probably save the gear block in a crash
