No kidding!
I am so pumped about the performance of my E Taco, I had a dream to take my favorite profile and scale it down to 36" span. Build it extra light like I did the E Taco, use the same power, same gear. Actually build it exactly like the E Taco, just with a different fuse profile. I'm even gonna use the same Taco ribs, just cut a new set with spar slots for a straight LE instead of the swept LE of the Taco.
I have already purchased the extra motor/gearbox and have the servos in house. CF tubes are here now. All I need to do is scale the planform down for the fuse and tail feathers, ailerons, etc.
I am of course building a second E Taco, but why I never thought to scale down other profiles and apply the same technique to them..I just can't imagine why I never thought of this until the middle of last night!!
