I've got a Hokusei Primus 90 Pro that I want to power with an Electric set-up. I could use some help picking out a motor/etc.

The Scorpion guy suggested this. 150 watts per pound
Scorpion SII-4025-440 Brushless Motor, Kv=440
100 amp ESC
APC 14x12 , 15x10 prop.

Here are the specs.

Length: 1780mm include spinner
Wing span: 1790mm
Flying weight: 3600g-3700g
Wing area: 64.08 dm2

Recommended:

Engine: 4C 90-110 scale YS FZ91, FZ110S, SAITO FA-125
Propeller: 4C 90 APC 15x6 4C 110 APC 16x6
Radio Requirement: 6CH, 5 SERVOs, 1ESC

The wing is one piece and drops down into the fuselage in a tongue and groove kinda way and the canopy section goes on and locks it all together. There's no wing tube.
I'm thinking that overpowering it will just end badly......

I found this vid of the Beast 60e using the same motor. The specs say it weighs more than the Primus.

I never built it, it's still in my closet, local pickup in Cocoa Florida, make me an offer...
