I'm very excited to present the newest EE in HazzBro's ExtraExtra lineage!

The Extra Extra 36! :hover:

This the third revision to the EE25. It includes upgrades that Hazz, Stumpy and myself have been talking about for the last few weeks and I think I have it all finished up on paper.

Upgrades include a full length fuse tube, extended wing to a full 36" and extended ailerons and larger rudder. Fuselage and wing have been tweaked to accept the fuse tube and make scratch building easier. Redesigned motor mount to accept the recommended ST.10 motor. The wing is stronger and some frustrating details from the original have been altered in hopes of less cuss words during assembly.
Some more minor details will likely be added once I build Hazz' and mine.

Now to make new templates and cut the first two for Hazz and I to test out

WWRC sells the OG EE25 for $60 plus shipping for a full kit.

This was intended not only as an upgrade but for scratch building. Easy to cut and build from 1/4" balsa for the structure and 3/32" for the ribs and main spar. Because of the full length tube the 1/32 ply over the nose, gear and wing area aren't needed. Limited balsa is needed. I'll get a full list once I build the first one but I'd say You could build one for under $15 worth of balsa.

This isn't about money and I won't be selling these. I don't have yacht payments :p I, like Hazz, just want to see bros having fun with these awesome flying planes.

So will the plans be released once the protype is done? Looks like a good one.
These will be sent to balsadust for PDF conversion. They are kinda rough and I used pencil.

I'll be coming out with a new slab soon. I'll use a similar airfoil and fuse layout for my Laser230!

If this works as well as expected I'll update the CAD for detailed prints and kits as a rev c.

Biggest problem I've seen with the 25 is the fuse breaking where tube ends at the back of the wing. Problem solved.
The new rudder, ailerons and wing area should make this thing a monster!

New templates made. Ready to cut hazz and myself Porto kits !

I also have the fuse of my Laser38 drawn up too. But no sneak peeks until it's finished.

Got Hazz's and mine cut. Should get to build both this weekend. I'll just do the build thread here. Maybe add it all to the op.

Number one

Framed it up yesterday. I did use some OG parts from an old kit, chin and main wing saddle.

4.2oz RTC!

This one is hazz's. As soon as he approves it at Nash I'll cut some more
