It looks as though the spat at the "other site" has generated a lot of migrations. I have sent a note to the "other site's" amin support address inquiring whether the admin's "heavy handed Hilter domination" tactics are excepted and supported by them as a whole. As some have mentioned, I have gained a lot from that site but I will not support a site that behaves in such communistic ways.

Anyway, GREETINGS! My real name is Jim. I have been a 1% all of my life. For example, besides doing such extreme stuff like flying RC planes, I also ride motorcycles and collect assault weapons. What's worse than a biker except a biker with a gun? I live north of Dallas (that's in Texas) and have been flying for about 2 years. I have been into RC since the early 80's when I built and raced 1/8 scale RC Unlimited Hydros ... and have always had at least one RC car or truck at any time. Although I still enjoy flying my scale and sport-scale planes in circles, I have just started practicing 3D. I currently only have 2 profiles .... one of which won't hover worth a crap ( gp profile-38  ) ... and a SIG Ultimate FF which I bashed into a Waco. That one definately gets my heart pumping.

I hope to learn a lot from you folks and hopefully I can contribute as topics allow.

Shady Shores, as in Shady Shores in Lake Dallas?? Had some friends lived on Shady Shores, then moved out to the end of Hook Street, right on the lake. Really close to the park that has the Falcons Field, I've flown at Falcons as a guest a few times. Partied at the big party cove behind the old Lake Dallas Dam  a few times!

Yep. Same Shady Shores. As a matter of fact, I am going to the Falcon's field in the morning. I am a member of NDRCC but the group that I fly with ( "The Vultures" ) tends to meet at the Lake Dallas field real early on Sundays ... before the club members show up  I live about 2 minutes from it so it is closer for me also. Yell at me next time you are in the area.

The VULTURES rock!!! I am new here too. I am the official unofficial Vultures President. Kinda like the ProBros, we get shunned from a lot of places.

I am looking forward to getting stupid with a profile. I dont have one, but have always been amazed at the stuff that can be done with them. I see a lot of Burrito talk. Is this the best starter? Has anyone flow that 4D plane? http://www.tufflight.com/4d.html I am a profile virgin, so give it to me gently!!

At the moment, Texarkana looks like a go for me!!!! I dont know if I will be bringing the wife and kid, but either way, chances are good that I will be there! I dont have a profile yet, but I do have a good digital camera and I can usually get some pretty good videos and pictures! And since I am not a stingy bastard, I will be happy to host on my or this site for everyone to download etc.

There will be a lot of Burritos in Texarkans, so you'll get a close look. Most of us that fly them think they are the best starter around. Of course some SBs disagree

Hope to see all of you there......
