I would stay away from ply - adds weight........ The fuse held fine with 1/16" balsa before... It should hold up fine again with just 1/16' balsa. You can just scab on some 1/16" balsa to the outside of your crack... That will offer some strength.. Just make sure to get the grain running the same way as the rest of the sheeting.dhooks said:I was going to get some 1/16 lite ply to laminate to the fuse but the LHS doesnt have any. Promblem is thats a huge crack since it runs on an angle up across the fuse an I dont have any light ply. Any of you guys have a good idea of what to do with it or do I just need to order in some ply? I thought about glassing it but im not real big on that idea.
