Was wondering if anyone out there could help me out I got Futabas new 7cap i think the radio is great but am confused about the servos that came with the plane. I was wanting to put them in my funtana and run them on a 6v battery but some one at the field told me that you can not run futaba digitals on 6v. is this true I do not know if the servos will have enough torque.the specs in the book say 43 oz. the manuel does not say one way or the other. the servos are not even listed on futaba's sight.
thanks
Brandon

Second servo down:

http://www.futaba-rc.com/servos/futm0211.html

It says N/R for 6V. Some Futaba digitals are 6V rated, some aren't. I have run ones that aren't on 6V and they survived, but I later went back to 4.8V so as not to create expensive smoke.

I bet they will work fine on a Funtana.

Yeah, it has the same torque as the standard servos do. Back in the "olden days", before the vast array of servos we have now, we ran standard servos on planes a lot bigger than a Funtana and they always worked. And the Funtana is nothing but a .46 sized plane.
