They are way different. I started my foamy career with a Trident, a knock-off of the Tribute. It flew pretty good, but didn't roll too fast. So I put bigger ailerons on it. Didn't help much. So I moved the hinge line up (cut some of the fixed part of the wing off) 1 1/2" and made the ailerons bigger yet. NOW it rolled!
So then it ws on to the tail feathers, but now on a Yak. I started out with bigger ailerons, but the elevator and rudder needed enlarging as well. So made them bigger..and bigger. Finally got it to fly good.
Then added a cross braced fuse. Some feel that besides making the fuse stiffer, the cross fuse also enhances the pitch control.
I guarantee you this: Fly a box stock H9 Tribute, then fly a ChuckFlyer. You WILL be able to tell not just some difference, but A LOT of difference.
