I should have read the previous response. I thought you were talking the TT.46. A TT.61 should swing a 12/6,7,8, or 13/4” prop with no problem.

A 13x4 will work better for a 3D profile than a 12x6 on a 61 two stroke.

That being said, a two stroke 61 is very rarely used on a 3D profile simply because a two stroke 91 weighs exactly the same, and produces a lot more power.

TT Pro 61 with muffler - 27.1 oz
OS 91FX with muffler - 27.1 oz

(note: these weights are from my engines on my scale)

13/4, let it be a 2-stroke.

5lbs is pretty much max for a 40 size slab if you want bro powa but that kind of slab isn’t exactly one you’d huck like a rag doll.
most of the time the 60-61’s don’t make enough of a difference after you factor in the weight gain over a 46 or 55ax. But you had it,for sure give it a rip but if it doesn’t knock your socks off then I say try the 46 and see how you like it.

I have probably 12 91 four strokes... Even a couple ys 110s..

So I'll see how it does on the 61.... And go from there..

There's enty of engines in my collection to try lots of stuff!

Finally got out to the field for a maiden..

The tt 61 pulls it just fine with a 13x4 prop!

Needs a little tuning. It's a touch rich on the bottom end.. Had a couple bobbles but it never stalled..

Flies very nice. Plenty of throw. Rolls fast.
Did some high alpha. And it's pretty solid.

All in all I'm very happy with it!

Sweet! Always nice to have a successful maiden. Now all you need is a hat cam, lol.

Congrats on the successful maiden flight!

If you can find a 13x4W prop, that will do a little bit better on that TT Pro 61.

Oh no,pink again. Well WF,me to,bright colors help alot. If a pipe can be found it might put that pro61 over the top. Sometimes we sell short the power in them old 2sts,keep us up dated.
