I loved mine, just a fantastic low and slow floater. I should build another, just don't get time to fly anymore tho.Put the maiden flight on the Slick 46 UL yesterday. Man this thing flys amazing! It’s a real floater at 3lbs. I’m happy with the 3s set up making 650 watts although I wouldn’t want anything less for bro power. The motor wasn’t even ball sack warm. Thinking about moving from the 11x5.5 prop to a 12x5 or 12x6. Over all it’s a great flyer. It really floats in slow mode.
That is just beautiful. That's cool! Sounds like a blast Heinz.
No flying here in WI. We got 5 inches of snow and ice last night. It's postcard beautiful, but caused power outages and branches down..
Here's a pic up the street from my daughters house.

Joebob and Mojo Jojo, the best thing to keep you in the air is an 8 oz foamy.
Ordinarily, I would recommend the Value Hobby G202, but DO NOT get one of those. The quality of the kits is terrible and they fly like garbage from the new kits. The old kits yielded an amazing bird.
Get a Twisted Crack yak or any of their 39" birds. The fly awesome. It seems like a lot of $ to spend on foam, but when it goes to the field (or park) with you every time it is well worth it!!!
It's 700 watts continuous and an inverter generator. When I was flying pattern I would charge a 10S 5000 pack at 2C or setup two sets of packs at 1C and be around 70% of the rated capacity. If you're going to be charging 12S 5000 or more, you will need more watts.Been thinking about using a generator at the field. What size is the one you are using?
