The brown out issue was solved long ago. You don’t need a capacitor anymore especially if you’re using life or lipo batts.

Get yourself a CC10

this will help as well as the Capacitor that Jeff (Straightup) suggested. If the Lipo can deliver, this is the ticket.
How many uF capacitor would you suggest to try to diagnose a problem like this?

This is the one Spektrum made for the purpose.

It's a 4700µF 10V. Anything that value or higher would be appropriate. That said, if you are running a LiFe or LiPo of good size, the cap is not really as necessary. If you are running NiMh or NiCd, then it's recommended.

Three flights on the Raven this afternoon with the Falcon Carbon prop. The high end is still a little rich so I'll work on putting an access hole for the needles. I might also need to set my timer to 8 minutes because after 9, I didn't have much left. Will see once I get the motor tuned in.

I also need to do some reinforcement of the wheel pants. We are dry again and the cracks in the tiles for the starting area did some damage when I rolled into them.

Flew the trainer yesterday during my lunch break. actually a pretty fun little plane. Now to strip it down and enlarge some surfaces and give it a fresh covering scheme.

Today's lunch break was a good time. Took my 48" EF Edge and met my buddy who brought out his 85" Muscle Bipe, 67" Turbo Raven, and the old school Filton Extra that used to belong to bro kwj48. The Edge never disappoints. The Fliton Extra was far more capable than we expected. Muscle Bipe is a big ole baby in the and will break bad when you tell it to. The Raven while I still dont care for the scheme on the plane is a beast when it comes to low and slow. I'm pretty sure you could teach the local village idiot to harrier with it it's just that good.

I got out to do some flying this morning. It was a little windy so no one else out there was flying, just visiting.

I did 4 flights on the Flex CAP and it felt really good in the wind. I even got down low with some hovers and harriers with it.

I also took my generator to be able to recharge which was the first time I had it out there in a while. My main reason was to run the fuel out of it so I could put 100% fresh in. It ran out of fuel when the second pack was almost done recharging so rather than put some fresh fuel in it, I just used the club battery to top it off.

It seems like life never slows down much at times but I was able to get out to the field to do some flying today. Three other members were out and one was trying to fly a Flex RV-8 but was having a few issues. Another was out flying some micro planes and a few helis.

I got 3 flights with the Mamba 60E in and then had to call it quits because of things related to my job.

The other good news is that the field is starting to green up again thanks to some recent rain.

Thanks for asking.. I'm doing well. No flying. The snow and cold has arrived in WI. I used to fly all winter, but I'm not interested in that anymore.
I got some good plane work done on the holiday weekend. I'm working on a Gen 2 Mojo ARF that was glow and I'm now converting it to electric. I'm just getting done moving the servo bays forward.
Our current E systems are definitely lighter than the old glow systems because they all come out tail heavy when E powered. Moving the servo's forward helps a lot.
I'm also putting a sweet canopy on it. I'll post pics when it is ready to install the swervo's and motor. (y) (y) I'm super stoked about this plane because all the initial weighing shows it will have a 4lb 1 oz. RTF weight - the same as my Stix 46. A .40 bird with that weight and the Motrolfly 6S power system is insane power 😁😁

We had a club meeting yesterday so I took the 73" Raven and put 2 flights on it. My tank fitting for the fill came loose again so that along with engine tuning that wasn't making much sense ended the day a little early.

My needles were slightly rich compared to what the manual has as a starting position so I'll just lean a little first on the low end and go from there.

Pants held up fine and the muffler is nice and tight.

I also got some Christmas Lights put up on the Workshop.
