I got one of these just after christmas. I had wanted a cordless dremel but I talked to a few people on RCU and most said that while they worked, they didn't hold charge well and usually ran out at the most inopportune time. That kind of turned me off of getting one till I was lurking in the tool section of the local Lowes store. They had one with a 3 cell Lithium battery. I thought 11volts should provide sufficient power. I couldn't find mah rating on the package though. I came home and searched RCU for anything on it but came up empty. I figured what the hell, it's only $70. As far as tools go, it was the best $70 I've ever spent. I haven't used my corded dremel since I bought this one except for cutting carbon rod ditches in foamies with the router attachment.
I heartily recommend this tool. I used it a week or so before it needed charging. I charged it then and then I finally had to charge it again just before the Anderson indoor probro this past weekend. In the time I have used it, I have set up two ARFs, finished up my Burrito, and built several foamies. My wife also used it to feather some epoxy on a concrete statue where it broke.
One nice feature is a power meter. It is really only a couple LEDs but it lets you know if you are getting close. It has a circuit breaker built in that will trip if you overload it but I have only tripped it once in use. I have experimented with it and it seems to trip easier when the battery is low. I use a 2" cutoff wheel and it handles it fine. Actually it works better than my corded Dremel because the bearings are worn in it and it shakes really bad with the cutoff wheel.
