I'm pretty sure you'll not find them. If they were out there the Taco threads would be ablaze with the info. You're probably stuck with AL or wire. Take a look at how Paul does his wire on the FF Taco and the Burrito. I hate wire, but these are really strong, and seem to last forever; and, they are light!
I don't see any size. How do you know they are for small birds? Make sure you let us know how they are, the early Taco builders were looking for those!!!
the gear is designed for a .25 control line stunter, wt abt 35-42 oz. they would run a 9X4 to 10X4 and LA 25 engine. This guy (Mike Pratt) has designed several of Sig's planes. This gear may be a bit light if you are up near 3 pounds.
