I picked up two of these powered loudspeakers in a hi def projector deal.
Wondering if anyone has installed a bluetooth receiver in a powered speaker.?thinkin it would definately rock the house playing c.f's new anthem.especially if i could do stereo on one receiver.i see b.t. Receivers available reasonable but am unsure how the whole show would wire up, in particular the power supply for the receiver??
Anyone do something like im thinking?

Just easier to get an external one. Something like this.

There are many that have been around for a few years that are much more expensive from Switchcraft, Alto, and the top of the heap Radial DI. As far as wiring it up, pretty simple, you have to have power there for the speaker itself. The one I linked, came with the stereo wire for input 2 on that speaker.

You should also have realistic expectations for Bluetooth in general, they won't work outside of 30 feet reliably. In the audio business we just use a bombproof wire inside that range. We use the aux cable to isopod (from Whirlwind) to an XLR cable however long we need.
