Certainly not the cheapest set up, but it is ballistic......
Motrolfly 3615-570KV, Xoar or Sail wood 14X7 E Prop, Castle Edge lite 75, 2 2200 or 2600 3S lipo's in series. 2600's are an ounce heavier each. My Stix 46 is 4 lb 1 oz with 2200's and 4lb 3 oz. with 2600's but it flys the same.
I did a couple of nostalgic slabs recently - 1 was the Infamous Gator Skin Chakk, the other was my HIGHLY repaired 1st Mojo. Both birds came out at 4 3/4 lbs RTF and have this system and even at that weight they have scream for the sky vertical.
Even tho' I love this system, I've flown some Bro's 4S systems that are phenomenal - especially Prowlers Jeide built Primo.

Got the new motor installed on the Doug g slick 46. Trying to keep this plane light and on 3s I went with the bad ass 2820 1350kv . Finished weight fully loaded with battery, my slick 46 weighs in at 3lbs even. I tried a 11x5.5 prop first. It hovers at half throttle, feels like good pull out making 650 watts drawing 60amps. Really looking forward to the maiden flight!

Got a list of BA motors I’ve tried recently and plan on posting what they were used for. Battery and prop. Just did a Dirty Birdy for a friend of mine on 6s and that sucker haul’s the mail!
