I used to live 30 miles from there. Bill Rademaker and Mark Vance are the guys to talk to. Bill's link is here. http://www.armoredplanet.com/newwork1.htm

If you click on "sites we built" you can find a link to trio r/c (the local hobby shop) and hardin county flying colors (the local r/c club).

they are a great bunch. tell them Ron sez hi!
Im not in Radcliff but there are a few Bro's here in Louisville and the Southern Indiana area.
yeah, the mcneely lake park site in lou. is fairly close (that's where the morris gang originated) and is a nice field. tom sawyer club is only a little further, as is sircm. never flown at sircm field, but met several of their members at the mint julep scale meet (I was the one doing inverted passes with my decathlon :D ) and they were a really good bunch (the mint julep is held 30 miles west of radcliff at rough river state park, a really nice place.) you are about 2 hours away from henderson club, which you have to visit if you move; they are some hovering people!!! and a FUN bunch!

Thanks Ron I will check it out. Hopefully I will be able fly out and check it out. I have never been there, my wife went out to visit my son, who graduated from Fort Knox boot camp,(as a tanker GO ARMY). She really liked the area and the people, while she was there the owner of the local Best Western got to know her and offered her a job, fortunatly I telecomute for my job so I can work from anywhere, I know, lucky bastard.

Just wondering what the weather is like, I know summer is hot and humid, but was wondering if it snowed in the winter or not?

Thanks again maybe this Cali-boy, was born here, can transplant. Besides not too many Bros out here!!
one thing about ky., if you don't like the weather, wait a while, it'll change! :D I lived there for about 15 years. summers about like fla., winters not too bad, usually no bad snow till jan. and it seldom sticks around more than a few days. you usually get a warm week in jan., and a cold week in jan-feb. (below 32 all week). outside of that, it is really pretty good. you get a true winter but not unbearable. some pretty country. a lot of flying there, and centrally located; close to nashville, sikeston, piggott, ark; memphis, lexington, evansville, henderson, all of which have profile flyers :D
I live near Louisville, KY. We are getting more and more guys into the profile/3D thing all the time. During the winter we have an insane time flying foamies indoors.
