My first reaction is...no. If Dave Mathewson is elected...no when he is elected, I might consider it. For now I'm totally against it. Dave Brown called us 1 percent of RC. I consider that a compliment. I know he does not. We need to stay clean and pure.
A.M.A. SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP?
Well, it seems that the only guys who look out for us is us. I think it might be worth looking into to form a special interest group at a.m.a. to look out for US. I checked out the requirements on the ama site, basically it just says all members have a.m.a., officers elected bianually, a set of bylaws (no whining?) ability to run our end of the nats if competition oriented (what, a hover obstacle course? 
)
And though I am not big on organization, I don't wanna get pushed around. what do you guys think, is it a good idea, or does it suck?

Billy, you got a point there. while we'd have some pull I can see where it would lead to them dictating rules and policies to us. not that that's ever happened to us before...
and really, since we act together we probably have all the pull we need without anyone else.
so never mind, the idea sucked!
