I am looking at buying a EF YAK 54 68". HAs anyone out there flown one? If so, what did you think? Would you recommend the plane?

I have read the reviews, but I would like some Bro advice.....You know....From people who know how to 3D and stuff......

Oh and Gator....I know you can't 3D so I do not need your input......

I've got one, but haven't flown it yet. I got it from a guy in my club that dirt napped it. It needs a little rebuilding around the wing saddle, but I'm very impressed with the ARF build.

Eventually I'll get a SAITO 1.20 or YS 110 for it, but I'm gonna start with a cheaper 2 stroke until I know if I like it. I'm also planning on going with non-digital MG high torque Hitec servos.

While we are talking about the EF Yak can someone give me a NO bull comparison between it an the Funtana .90 . I want one or the other but seem to be having a hard time cutting through the crap on RCU about which one is the best. My finances only allow for one of them so I cant really do trial an error. On the other hand someone give me both of them along with 2 new ys 1.10s so I can do a head to head pro bro comparison to answer the question for everyone. It would be my own little sacrifice to the brotherhood

The EF YAK I am looking at has a Saito 1.50 on it so I am sure that there is plenty o' power.....I have heard some pretty nasty things about the Funtana .90....On the other hand I have not heard many bad things about the YAK....

I guess it is in all personal preference...I do like how the Yak flies. I was allowed to fly it a couple of times and enjoy the way it flies. I have not been able to thumb the sticks on a Funtana. Jack has so why don't we ask him........

I believe that would be Jim? You must be doing well Gator, he deadsticked my 4* with no problems lol. Then again, he also got me in trouble with my home field when he told em I was at Craft road instead of there lol... Wasn't his fault, he didn't know how cranky they are down there...
