I have a friend that just bought a 40 profile, and is looking to set it up E 6S.
There was just a thread talking about the best batteries available right now, and I can't find it.
I told him to stay away from Value Hobbies.
I'm wondering what the best Lipos are now for the price.
And wondering what is the best equivalent to the Motrolfly 3615 570KV?

According to the big battery testing thread on RCG, the SMC is pretty much the top dog, and Liperior is the best bang for the buck. Keep in mind that thread is only testing 6S cells around 5000 mah.

Not sure about an equivalent motor to the 3615 570kv, but I'd check the performance charts of the BadAss motors to see what they offer.

I passed that battery info on to him.
It looks like the BadAss 3515-580 would be a good replacement for the Motrolfly 3615 570KV.
It is a half oz. lighter and half the price!!

I've had great results with HK Graphene. Ones I bought in 2016 are still strong and not puffed.

X2 I’ve had great results with Turnigy graphene as well with zero swelling. The charge rate is insane at 7+C

For the motor, we decided to go with a Cobra 3525/14 560KV, but then as I looked more their 3520/18 550 is closer in weight to the Motrolfly.
His application, he will be able to use the nose weight tho'
