that was impressive that it hovers that well on a razor350 with GWS D gearing, 3 cells and a 13X6.5 prop

I didn't see the mah rating on his cells, or their config, but I just bought a himaxx 2015-4100 and this thing is giving me evil thoughts

Man that is impressive. I never thought about going that big on a flat foam flane. What a trip!!!!!!! I would dearly love to take that baby to a IMAA event. What a hoot to see the faces on the guys with the $8000 planes when you hover right next to them!!! (bad Gordo, bad!)

depends on the ratio. If its a D, then I would guess around 15amps, but its been a while since I've played with Razors. On his site, it says its powered by an RZ400, which would be much more reasonable on a 13x6.5 with a D ratio. He did have some motor problems with it. One time it gave up over an indoor pool, and went in. I forget exactly why it gave up.

here's his site: http://www.michaelconnally.com/current.htm

My E-Flite Park 370 4100kv, Cobri gearbox @ 6.6:1 ("D", 66t-spur, 10t-pinion), APC Thin-E 13x6.5 pulls 12.4 amps from a 3S Tanic 1550 pack.

I run this prop on my FancyFoam SU-29. Pulls as well as a 12x6sf, but doesn't break if it touches the ground (might break the stick though). Does have more torque induced roll than the 12" prop, as one would expect.

Should be fine with a Razor 350 too (4200kv), but will pull a couple more amps.
