(2) 36 x 1/4 x 1/4 hardwood
(5) 36 x 1/4 x 3/8
(2) 48 x 3/16? x 3/16? not sure on square dims on this one for wing
(3) 48 x 1/4 x 1/4
(8) 36 x 1/4 x 1/4
(1) 36 x 3/8 x 3/8
(1) 36 x 1/16 x 4 balsa sheet

Edit, need tri-stock, looks like 4x sticks of 36"

I've never built this guy, and I was taking measurements in Bluebeam during a conference call, use at your own risk.

do some primo .15's. great flying little plane. don't do crossgrain bracing, tho- that sucks. eliminate those, notch where they were for a proper stick.

*** HEADS UP TO THE STRAGGLERS ***

I'm cutting the 40s and 60s requested after the original deadline and will be sending out invoices early next week, so keep your eyes peeled.

Received my Mojo 60 kit today.

Yeah, I admire scratch builders deeply. But I certainly would not want to have to cut all these parts by hand. So thank you, Sam, for delivering me from such bondage.

My old school Mojo 60 is PreMoAss. Looking at the plans Sam sent with the kit, which is MoAss, I see a number of differences. The MoAss rudder and elevator are not just larger - they are significantly larger. The ailerons are larger also - a full inch in depth at the wing root. And unless I forgot how to drive a tape measure, which is unlikely, the MoAss fuselage is 3-inches longer than my PreMoAss.

Now all this will be nothing new to many of you old Bros. You were here when the changes all went down. But be merciful on the old Zombie here as I still have quite a bit of catch up to do. And I did not realize the Mojo changed this much.

This will be interesting. I hope to have both flyable at the same time so I can fly them back to back. The unknown is whether these stiff old fingers will even be able to take advantage of the increased performance. Meh! It will be fun as can be either way. I see why my Mojo weighs less than those recently mentioned. There is considerably more material in a MoAss compared to my PreMoAss.

I see Sam includes ply engine/landing gear block - 2 pieces that glue together to get the 1/2-inch fuse thickness. This is how my PreMoAss Mojo was done - although it may have been one 1/2-piece. I don't recall. The plans which Sam sends seem to be from Swany's Version 2 MoAss kits and mention this part as a built up with balsa, maple engine bearers, and ply. I'm guessing this mod was added to the MoAss to aid in the elimination of the vibration and delam the PreMoAss Mojo engine mount had.

Since Sam has sent ply, I'm going to be preemptive again on this MoAss Mojo and add the aluminum channel like I did on my PreMoAss build. Anyone interested, if you missed it, can see that here:

https://www.theprofilebrotherhood.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=41577&start=20

Read the following posts at the thread below mine. There is some discussion about this and on the following page are links to the issue from way back.

What makes this work so well is I run the angle stock the full length of the engine block - so it buries itself in the wing - trimming just as needed for one leg to clear as the whole works slips into the wing. The only caveat is possibly a very hard crash tearing the whole wing open - instead of breaking the nose of the plane off. Think I'll take that risk as this mod really makes the nose of the plane very strong - with no vibration issues. Think it would have to be a hell of a crash to rip the wing open.

Again, Thanks, Sam! Not scared of trashing my PreMoAss Mojo now since I have the possibles for a replacement in house - and a MoAss to boot.

Yes! Saito 100 will rock!

But if a guy has a YS 110 around ... well, I'm just saying ... consider the possibilities.

this- make the ass removeable instead. easier, lighter. viewtopic.php?f=20&t=21425&hilit=.91+lamyak

i had a little aveo when i designed it, and no way it fit in 1 piece.

let's see some balsa dust being made! get your mojo out of the closet and play with it!

oh- and pauly designed the original mojo 60 for a saito .91, as they were cheap after the 1.00 came out. a 1.00 is a hoss on a light one, and a light one easier to learn 3d on. in fact, i'd take a light 91 powered lamyak or mojo 60 over about anything as the perfect knock around plane. they are just FUN! get a crack pipe for it, too... it sounds better.

this was many years ago, you can see the .91 has great sound and power. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhsE_PVYvT4 gotta love the spot landing at the end!

a short pullout, but you can see not lacking power. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8YuZZXUsRY and another spot landing. iirc, i found that the m.a.s. black 15-6 worked really well on that engine.

iirc, i bought that engine used from basementdweller, he bought it and don't think he used it. i put bearings in it, a crack pipe on it, 15% nitro. plenty power. the crack pipe is the muffler off a saito 182 twin. the one with the pressure nipple on it. part # is posted many times on this site, you just gotta find it.

crack pipe thread- one of several. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=27463&hilit=crack+pipe+part+number

SAI182TD74A appears to be correct. the 1.82 is what it's off of.

wf, you sold me on the tail being removeable,i like it alot. looks like plywood tabs,if each side were pinned,if broken easy to change.still thinking about tube. much better than joining wihgs. ys 91 verses 115 saito, think saito win by little, pull a bit more prop maybe, but i dont know much. like the tail forsure, tell me more. big thanks, you made it easyerrr. zombie, you think on it, make alot easyer to work on plane.
