Could be water but most likely alcohol.
Both can be condensed by having warm fuel and cool air around the jug.
Alcohol will condense at way less temperature difference.
This is how we separate alcohol from water in a distillery.

That said, if you regularly have the cap off the fuel jug, and you are near the bottom of the gallon, there could be water in the fuel. If you are having random flame-outs, then start a fresh gallon and see if they go away.

Does water stay suspendid in glow fuel because of the alcohol,and not pool at the bottom as in other fuels??

Alcohol attracts water like a magnet. It will not separate without temperature differential.
Gasoline and other fuels don't really like water in solution so they tend to separate.

Methanol attracts moisture. During heating and cooling it will evaporate out of the methanol and condense on the inside of the jug, I think!
