EVO caps and edges - gauging interest

Most of the caps out there I believe are E-powered. I was the odd one and put a .75 in mine. The nose and motor mount are designed for E-power, I had to modify the front.

The motor mount is sized small enough for glow power but most of them including all of mine are e-power. The EVO edge wing is very similar to the Mad edge wing using the same root airfoil but wing has been tapered instead of remaining constant height.

For more info, videos, and thoughts on the planes, back out to the Texas Hobbies subforum that this is posted under and you'll see a bunch of previous threads about these planes. There's lots of stuff out there on them.

50" span

4.5-5 lbs electric

4.75-5.25 lbs nitro

Hope this helps.

Yes it does help. I somehow didn't realize these are the latest and greatest of whats on his websight. I have my "3 kit" quota of this size airplane in the closet though. So I guess I'll have to pass for now. :drink:

We're up to eight... I'm probably going to go ahead and do a run even though we didn't hit 10 but I have a few finishing touches to do on the cad files for the edge. Once I'm 100% ready to go I'll put up a thread.
