I did manage to get the cap files 100% ready for prototype cut last night. I'll take care of the edge if I get time tonight and then I can order material.

Just ordered $80 worth of EPP to cut down for the foam parts  This build method better work or I'm going to be building a lot of damn foamies...

Had a bit of a headache trying to get the EPP core material cut down to a consistent thickness but I cracked the problem today and have a pile of foam waiting to head off. I'm waiting on a basla quote right now from Clay which is the last step before prototypes get cut!

I'm proud to report that all the materials for the prototypes are FINALLY shipped out for cutting. This process has only taken about a year too long. I'll try to make the transition from prototype to production happen a little quicker...

Hmmm… I'm running pretty good odds that I'll have a suitcased MadEdge540 on 6S and an EvoEdge540 on 4S at NorCal for side-by-side comparison… :superhappy:

We're getting really close on a production run here. My hope is to have kits for sale by hobro at the start of May.

The design has come a long way as well. Production planes will have a lot of new features including separated plans for both fuse core and skins, carbon fiber (not fiberglass) fuse tube for weight and increased stiffness, all balsa construction eliminating the foam core pieces entirely, and new carbon reinforcements to the wing for maximum strength.

If possible I will also be adding a CNC cut fiberglass control horn set to the kits.

The end result of this should be the strongest, stiffest, lightest profiles in this size ever made. I'm very happy with how the production prototypes are turning out and can't wait to stock kits.
