VELOXITY - Twisted Hobbies

PostPosted: Fri Mar 26, 2021 10:38 pm

Finally a foamy that is rigid and sturdy enough to fly in any weather and is floaty. The Veloxity is 43" ws, and the entire fuse is 7/8" thick. The wings and tail gear are thicker as well. Like it better than any of the other TH foamies and it compares well with the Addiction X. Am currently in the finishing stages of adding the electrics to the Mojo 40 that Allen Puckett gave me a few years back. I'm sure it will fly fantastic but will be a lot more fragile than I would have expected. Will send pics when ready to fly.

Is the Revolto a little thicker than the typical TH foamies. I've started using the Foam Tac glue this year and like it a little better than Welders glue. What are you using on foamies?

Will have her wrapped up in a couple days. Looking like it will be tail heavy. Always my luck having to add weight after you do your best to build it light.

Happins to me to,even if i buy one,if can,add spacers back of motor,or add bit more motor if have to. My mojo getting a rebuild, first owner had bal point 4in behind spar. And al were set 3/8in up both sides, and WF pink,i be getting it right, and shedding most of the pink. Each plane teaches us a bit more, but must say, flying someones great flying plane would be nice, feel what a plane can be,when everything just right. Like a WF super tuned to a nats ass, with CHEAP servos.  :nw: :nw:

If you roll inverted, and it does an outside loop on its own, it's perfect! :rolleye:
