I’m finishing up a makeover on this old Mojo 40. I wish I would have stripped it down to the tube like you did for a fresh start. Had to use dope to get the monokote to stick. Lesson learned.

stix it helps. so does alcohol mixed with cornstarch. paint slurry on, let dry, toothbrush off. repeat as necessary.

i'm gonna trace rib and knock out a foam wing one. thick as it is, a short stub spar and packig tape plenty strong. should be fun!

managed to measure off the view file i got and used old rudder post to get fuse stick in right place. notice vertical clamped on to make sure it's straight with bottom half.
